This module provides the “Public timetable” feature. The public timetable is structured into public timetable fields. A public timetable field is referred to as a “traffic field” in Routes. Each traffic field must also cover a list of designated stations (which also includes railway junctions) and a list of trains. Once the list of stations is created, the list of trains may be defined automatically.
There are two types of traffic fields in Routes:
-
one-way fields;
-
two-way fields (the so-called ‘turnaround’ fields).
Each traffic field can be exported in the format used to configure the “Public Timetable”. These traffic fields make up the “Public timetable”.
The station list is assembled in much the same way as a train route. The stations associated with a triangle are those stations where train departures are displayed. The stations associated with a circle display train arrivals. The railway junctions featured stand out in the station list. Junctions are stations in which the system automatically identifies the next train outbound to this station by querying the previous station in the list. As a rule, the previous station is labeled as a station where arrivals are displayed.
The following operations are available in this module:
-
adding, editing, deleting traffic fields;
-
synchronizing the traffic field list with the server;
-
filtering the traffic field list by one/two-way tracks and regional subsidiaries.
The module provides users with the following reports:
-
reports with traffic field listings in an HTML format;
-
reports with traffic field listings in an RTF format;
-
traffic field reports, as displayed in the “Public Timetable.”
