Hardware and software requirements

The hardware requirements of the Routes system depend on the number of users in the system. The tables below detail two hardware requirements schemes (minimum and recommended) for client and server systems, in an average system.

A UPS device which can keep the system running for at least 10 minutes


Server software requirements

  • Windows Server OS;
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or MSDE for systems with no more than 10 users.

Client software requirements

  • Windows 98/NT/2000/XP OS;
  • MDAC version 7 or newer; the system has a preinstalled version of MDAC. If necessary, once the Routes client is installed, this software component is also installed;
  • Microsoft Office 2000/XP/2003, Word and Excel.
